Steve proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Ogdensburg - Mr. Steven E. Brown, 61 passed away on Monday July 20, 2020 at the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center with his brother Tim, at his side. A gathering to celebrate Steve Brown's life will be October 30, 3-6pm. He completed several marathons including the Seaside marathon in OR, the Honolulu and the Maui marathons in HI and many other road races in the region. Rick was a southern Baptist until the day he was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He truly hungered and feasted upon the words of Christ daily. After graduating from HSHS in 1976, Steve spent a year rowing at Rutgers University, and then made his way up to Boston to continue his educational and rowing career at Northeastern University.
